Math Alive

Dynamic graphic motifs enrich the learning effect of math in the blended learning environment. Parabolic graphs from mathematics inspired the logo design. Letter A and V are connected with a continuous line, demonstrating the interaction between an educator and a student. It conveys the message that Math Alive guides users to become whiz kids in math. The key visuals represent the transformation of abstract math concepts into three-dimensional graphics. The challenge was to balance the fun and engaging setting for the target audience with professionalism as an educational technology brand.

Primary Residence

Primary Residence is a typeface design that turns minimal architectural forms into letters and numbers, using the three primary colors red, blue and yellow. Each character shows a small part of a building, without a clear entry or exit. Stairs, windows and geometric shapes refer to the Bauhaus movement and to minimalist architecture. The design was also informed by stairs and windows observed in different parts of the world. The sketches were made on paper, based on photographs of real buildings. The aim is to blend the form and the identity of the structure.

The new identity has been developed together with the people who will use it, balancing all the aspects of the communications. It focuses on reaching a wider public with an accessible, relevant, structured, and distinctive approach. These key principles have been used as a design direction for all the visual assets.

Shenzhen Jiangangshan Hill Park

Henri Rousseau's impressionist style is ingeniously applied as the main visual elements into this project. The artist's thoughts and the project's purposes are brought into resonance by the concept of harmony between human and nature.

Moscow Ambassadors School

Interesting stories are hidden behind every turn of the old streets and it is impossible to associate the City with any one minimal set of recognizable symbols. While studying the city, the future ambassador discovers it anew, like a student discovers a primer at school. For the construction of the identity, a typographic solution was chosen, based on the principle of typographic eclecticism: the Old National script, interspersed with the cursive script and recognizable fonts of the avant-garde artists. The color scheme is laconic-bright red.
