TOMO branding & interface design

TOMO is a friend and full-time passenger. I designed the branding concept for the TOMO interface system, a project sponsored by Toyota and Fujutsu Sen. Each letter in the TOMO logo is derived from the iconic Toyota logo, and in combination, the letters reform the original Toyota logo, subtly preserving Toyota's brand equity. The name is an abbreviation of the iconic Tomoguchi virtual pets of the 1990's. Now, TOMO is grown up and has evolved into a fully interactive, intuitive vehicle interface system. Klaipeda City 760-th anniversary

Getting an inspiration from calligraphy we designed the whole anniversary visual identity system: slogan, logotype, promo materials, Klaipeda historical panorama, kinetic spatial composition “Klaipeda. 1252-2012 Historic Pendulum” as well as an interactive composition which metaphorically was called “Birds Chirping”. Designed logotype – attractive, vivid, emotional-rich, freestyle calligraphically written and represents “Klaipeda” name. It reflects optimistic emotions through attractiveness, visuality and style. And a sustainable design was achieved by replacing some plastic or TNT materials with 100% cotton fabric. All paper types specified in the new project are FSC certified papers.
